Memes Competition – Terms and Conditions

The competition closes 8 May 2023.
1st PRIZE will be judged by AINSLIE BULLION.
2nd & 3rd prizes will be People’s Choice by voting on the My Place Australia Meme Gallery Page.
Winners will be notified by email or phone by 23 May 2023. 

  1. This fundraising competition is administered and promoted by My Place Australia – a non-profit community organisation and ALL funds raised will go towards building the infrastructure required to support the My Place communities around Australia.
  2. Those directly involved with administrating this competition are ineligible to enter. Such restrictions do NOT apply to those within the My Place community that have assisted with promoting the competition.
  3. To enter the competition, entrants must:
    • be 18 years or over
    • an Australian resident
    • follow the Meme guidelines
    • submit all entries by midnight 9th May 2023. Dates dependant on launch date
    • agree to have submitted Memes shared on social media
  4. A $10 per Meme is required and entrants can enter as many Memes as they like.
  5. The prizes, donated by Ainslie Bullion, are as follows:
    • 1st PRIZE: ½ Kilo Ainslie Silver Bullion
    • 2nd PRIZE: 5oz Ainslie Silver Bullion
    • 3rd PRIZE: 1oz Minted Ainslie Silver Bullion
  6. Ainslie Bullion will judge 1st PRIZE. 2nd and 3rd PRIZES will be determined by People’s Choice voting on the My Place Australia website gallery of entrants.
  7. Winners will be notified by 23rd May 2023 via email and or phone and the bullion delivered to the winners by Ainslie Bullion. If the winner/s cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
  8. The winning Memes will be published on the My Place Australia website with the Display Name the entrant has included with their entry.
  9. Your personal details will not be shared with any other organisation other than those directly involved in payment processing and the winner’s details supplied to Ainslie Bullion solely for the purpose of receipt of prizes. My Place Australia may notify you via email of future competitions you may choose to enter.
  10. In the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any other event outside the control of the My Place administrators, My Place Australia reserves the right to amend, delay or cancel the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by My Place Australia.
  11. All images used in the creation of memes by participants in the competition are for entertainment and educational purposes only. My Place Australia has no intent to infringe on the copyright of any images used in the form of satire or parody by displaying Meme entries on the My Place Australia website and/or social media.
  12. My Place Australia’s decision in all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. By entering this competition, an entrant is agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
